getting a verizon prepaid phone?

so im getting a new verizon phone because i want to get unlimited texting with a prepaid plan. i really want to get the LG ev3 and im wondering if i can buy a phone for the 2-year contract price if i am getting the prepaid plan? i also have gift cards for walmart and was wondering if i could do all this there?
 
If you buy the phone with the 2 year contract you will have to pay activation fees.
If you cancel the contract, you will probably be charged for the phone and the termination fee which runs you over $200. So the answer is NO.

They dont sell prepaid verizon phones on Walmart's website either.
