Getting a new face plate for my car stereo system?

I was working on my car at school and left it unlocked someone jacked my subs and face plate. I'm over it now, but I need to find a replacement. I figured ebay, and there is a lot on there but how do I know which one would fit my deck? I could probably get a picture, but I don't actually remember what type of deck it is, would it say somewhere other than the face?
