Getting a book published?

I'm currently 14 and I was just recently thinking about writing a book to be published for people to actually buy?
I've never written a book before but I've written two poems when I was younger which was published into one of those mass books of other poets ect. ( I just wrote it and gave it to school, they gave it to whoever made the book )

Could I please have some information or details about what I would have to do and what they expect ect..
