To see if i ovulated. will the test not only tell me that i ovulated but ALSO tell me WHEN exactly i ovulated!??

When i get the results back, will the doctor tell me what cycle day i ovulated or only just tell me that i did ovulate this month????
 
I didn't know a blood test could tell when you ovulate, I think if he did an ultra sound or something he could tell.
