Hi, I want to humanely get rid of a bunch of hedgehogs in my garden. My dog is trained as a guard dog and so feels that hedgies count as intruders and feels the need to bark at them every single night at 1 in the morning... I don't want to tie him up as he's a guard dog and I'm wondering will moving them to the field across the road discourage them? I live in the country in a fairly well fenced in garden so I don't know how they're getting in. Any suggestions as to how to get rid of them? Oh and please don't say dynamite or mines. I'm not a gardener but have a lot of wildlife in my garden but only the hedgies with their spikes count as a threat in my dogs eyes. I have frogs, foxes, pheasants, rabbits etc. all wild. Help??!!
Oh can I say the hedgies actually provoke my dog the one day we put him in his run they climbed into his kennel. How does that work?
