I am looking for a fiction book I read in 80's or 90's about an English girl who marries a man named Charlie. She was previosl involved with a woman named Marion? When Charlie finds out about her old affair with a woman he leaves her. He is the love of her life. He realizes his mistake and is on his way back when he crashes his motorcar and is killed. Need to know author and title.
