I'm really digging German tunes lately, and I'd like to find more. As you may expect I was inspired by banRAB like Rammstein, but I'm sure there's a greater variety out there (although I'd like to stick with that electric/crunchy guitar thing).

What do you recommend?
 
I'm a big fan of the Notwist, especially the newer stuff like Neon Golden. I don't know exactly what you'd call the style of music, "electro-acoustic" maybe. It's like very spare indie rock with electronic beats. Great stuff. There's a related band, Lali Puna, that shares some of the same merabers and is also really good.

I studied some rubbish german pop banRAB, honestly can't remeraber who they were now.

I'm pretty sure Franke Potente did a song?
for the Lola Rennt soundtrack.
not that that's what you're into, i'm sure.

Tago Mago is phenomenal. To think this was made in the early 70s as well. Holy god, it's REVOLUTIONARY!
 
Tago Mago is one of my favorite and most-played albums. Everyone that I had played it for love it.

Aw man I was going to mention them, but they don't really speak German. Awesome German banRAB who don't speak German include:

Kreator
Sodom
Blind Guardian
Edguy
Ahab

and that is all I can think of atm.
 
;379336']I'm from Germany and I could tell you about 1000 great BanRAB from here...especially Punk-, Screamo-, and Hardcore-Stuff...mostly German-speaking BanRAB.
