Hey Guys,
It always makes me feel better reading posting from other people knowing you are not alone. So I just wanted to share my pain, no pun intended, and I want to see if everyone else is dealing with the same issues.
Chest Pain - obviously =) The burning can be excruciating
Back Pain - the same burning sensation I get in my lower back
Shoulder pain - burning sensation in my shoulders, more on the top of my shoulders
Arm Pain - burning sensation here too. At first this really concerned me, ER trip like most of you, but now I get it in both arms.
Leg Pain - I also get a little burning in my upper thighs
Figured I would just share a few things I've learned. The arm pain is caused by the nerves being stimulated in the diaphragm. I've read MANY accounts from doctors that said arm pain is not a common symptom, yet I've read many accounts from fellow sufferers about arm pain. The pain the chest is caused by the build in acid in the esophagus again stimulating your nerves. So while it feels like it's in your breasts, it's actually in your esophagus for most people.
Anyone else getting the arm pain? This really freaked me out. I'm also a sufferer of panic disorder, which of course aggravates those symptoms. I just took a Xanax and I feel much better. Plus a nice swig of Maalox has alleviated my symptoms for a couple of hours, although they are starting to come back.
Anyways, what's going on with you guys? Anyone feeling my pain =)
