Does anybody know the speech that G.W. gave after the American Revolution, when the soliders were thinking of leaving b/c they had no pay and what not. It was a speech on reconstrution. They say that he read a letter and then said something along the lines of "forgive me, but let me put on my glasses. For this war has tried me both physically and mentally." (that is what my teacher said. But it is most likely wrong.) Then it is said that there was not a man in the room not crying.
