...is the world going mad? Look I'm all for equal rights in law but what's all this about gay & lesbian marriages? If you want the same equal rights in law then fine but why the heck should you have an equal right to marriage? I'm sorry but this really is something I just don't agree with. Call me controversial to buck the trend by saying this but I really don't agree with this. What do you think?
 
I think if you love someone why shouldnt you be allowed to "marry" them.
 
Frankly, I don't think it's your business. If two consenting adults want to have their union recognized by law, then let them. What do you care? Why shouldn't gay couples get the same legal benefits and protection as married straight people? I don't understand why people are so freaked out by this, to be honest. Gay people have been around forever. They live together and have their own families. If they are prepared to make a marital commitment, they should be allowed to do so.
