Gentlemen, Show Me Your Engine Guards

(and ladies) I bought some oem engine guards and I'm having trouble with the left bottom attachment. I can't get the bolt in and the instruction illustrations are too dark to see where they are attaching to. For those of you with the same, can you show me some pictures of where yours attach? As I understand it, the top bolt gets the spacer and goes where there is a little clip. The bottom bolt seems to want to go under the foot paddle but the hole on my engine guard doesn't seem to want to line up exactly over that hole. Thanks!
 
Just got mine today so they are still in the box. It is snowing to beat all hell tonight so I will wait. Got me some desert dogs as well. I did get a free key chain with the deal though!! Wooohooooo!!
 
I was able to get mine on without any problem. my bike is below, but cannot see it very good. Just remember they both mount inside the frame do the top first and it swings into place pretty easily.
 
I got the Cobra Highway Bars. I think it looks perfect.

I have the Cobra like DoubleDecker is showing in his picture. The nob on my floorboards still drags the highway before the bars {ie I quit leaning when nob hits}.
