theres a link to the story if you don't know what I'm talking about.
What do you think? What are you arguements either way? Isn't it slightly redundant to post a sign that says to speak english when obviously anyone it implies to would not be able to read it? Or do you think this is America and it is patriotic for him to lay his foot down on something he believes in?

Yes, it is his establishment. He can chose how you order there as long as you are not disabled.
try mumbling out your order in gibberish at a peak busy time.
Geno won't be the only one telling you to speak english

He has every right to require "Speak English."

Should he have to hire an interpretor? Speak English and he wouldn't have to hire an interpretor onto his payroll.

Either that, or require anyone who does not speak English, to bring their own interpretor if they want quality service.

You have a good point about the sign being printed in English. Obviously it is there to make a statement. And being the son of immigrants, I must say that I agree 100% with the statement he is trying to make, and so does my family, who all learned English once they arrived in the United States of America.
