Very good. A jeep is made to go off road so it is made strong. Besides most cars are just getting going at 100k miles.

I would like to buy a 1999 Jeep Cherokee with 103k miles. Should I expect problems with the car? Are they reliable?

I have done a lot of research on these and 99 seems like a good year. I do not own one yet, but I will in about a month, I would not hesitate on a 99 with 103 on it. To the other posters that say it is junk I would say they have not looked into them because for a Good used SUV over 100,000 Jeeps get High praises every where I look. I cant wait to be part of the Jeep Family
