In a previous experiment, copper (II) was analyzed by a quantitative precipitation method. As copper (II) is a colored ion, it also should be possible to use visible spectroscopy to determine the concentration of copper (II). Compare the method used in this experiment (titration) to the other two methods (quantitative precipitation and spectroscopy) and discuss the applicability (e.g., under what conditions would each be preferable) of each method...
