Right now I am using a Mac, and am considering going back to PC, this is my reason:
I understand a lot of businesses use PC's and run Office and other programs. Now I have a Macbook with Office 2004. I am looking into either business with marketing, sales, or management in the comic book industry, computers, or video games. I have even considered to become a video game designer (I know that video games are much easier to program through a PC as well). I also wanted to get back into video gaming on a computer and I know that PC's are much more capable of doing so. Other than that all I would do is email people and do school work. So my question is, based on the industries I'm looking into, and the things I want to do with a laptop would it be a better idea for me to go from Mac to PC or stay with Mac?
I'd also like to add one concern of mine with PC's. I worry a lot about viruses, I don't go on sites that contain viruses but I still worry about bad Spyware not working and such. What is the "virus count" for PC's?
One final detail, I currently own a Macbook, its in real decent shape, bought it for $1300, if I wanted to sell it, would $900-$1000 be reasonable?
