Gender Studies - Ladies, what would you do if your man?

Get up and get him a drink. He would never ask for it in a demanding way, and he doesn't take me for granted; I see no reason to feel annoyed at a simple request. He does stuff for me.

I'll do it because I generally have something to do all the time and I wouldn't give it much thought BUT I do expect him to do things for me too. And he does.

It depends on the type of person he is. If he's a nice person and I'm about to stand up, I would not hesitate to get him a glass of water. However, if he's the exploitative, mercantile type, I would have dumped him a long time ago.

I'd tell him "do I look like a waitress to you? get your own damn drink! you have legs that work, don't ya!?"

:)

Ignore.
He's obviously not talking to me, since I'M not up.

EDIT- Oh wait, you mean I was going to get up anyways? Sure. I'll get get something to snack on too, then when I'm back, we'll cuddle up and share it.

I'd say 'ok' and do it next time I got up. But I wouldn't get up only to do that.
If he asked me outright to please bring him something to drink then I probably would get up and do it straight away as long as when I asked him the same thing he was willing to do the same for me.

I wouldn't do as Bunny suggests. That would make for a very bad relationship and would irritate because of its rudeness.

Also, it depends on other circumstances too. If we are both on holiday or both working then the answer would be as I said above. However, if he was working and I was a stay at home housewife, then I would expect to wait on him when he was home, to a certain extent, as home time would be his relaxation time and he would be out working for the two of us, so it would only be fair that at home he can expect to be pampered a little by the woman he is working so hard for.

Good women are happy to do it. They fetch me a drink with a smile on their face, and are happy for the rest of the night when they see that I return the smile. Feminists are for sure gonna thumb me down cause truth hurts.
