gears of war trouble on the pc?

I instaled the game it would not start

i found there was a patch, but i dleted the game before that and tried to reinstall it

the system only lets me attempt to uninstall the game further and never lets me re-install it again

what do i do?

do i need to delete if from registry, and if so, how?

are there any other methods?
