In gears of war 2 when you are you are looking for maria (Dom's wife) you finally find her cooped up in a prisoner cage. Upon opening the cell door the fun loving, wise cracking, cookie baking maria walks out looking fresh as a daisy and goes into doms embrace. But then the next bit realy confused and freaked me out. She suddenly turns into a weird gollum like petifilftic and slightly dilusional creature. How and why did this happen. PLEASE EXPLAIN!
