I have a Mazda Familia DX wagon year 2001 auto tramsission.
Suddenly the 1st gear is not changine and the car always accelerates from gear 2. When I checked with a Machanic, he stated that I have to replace the gear box which is costly. Does any one knows possible reasons for this and whether it can be repaired wihout replacing the grear Box..?
