gcse art exam: i, me, mine...?

well i have got my gcse art exam in just over a week and i have hardly even started the lead up work =S.. i just wanna know who else is doing this exam and what you have done for your prep work.. please help?? i need ideas on my final piece

well my art gcse we had a subject to do work on, but with only a week left you're fucked, you need to build a sketchbook up aswell but the final piece can be anything, but its easier to design and do a painting/drawing
just make sure its some accomplishable, not finishing can really affect the outcome of your marks
also you should be a doing a big information type page, where you put your influences and your ideas/preparation work
 
I done my 10 hour exam on this same I, Me, Mine project in march

umm lead up work?
Well obviously plan out what you want to do in the exam and start doing experimentation for it.. i.e. if your going to paint on a surface or canvas.. then experiment with different paints and materials depending on what your idea is about..
Well my prep book started with;
1) a mind map.. full of different ideas i.e. memories, family and friends, fears, past and present etc
2) Choosing three ideas from that mind map, and gathering visual information (preferably primary sources!)
3)Developing one of those ideas from the visual information into your final idea by creating an initial ideas page
4) and loadds of relevant artist referencing for the idea..

But it dpends on how your suppose to set your work out.. im just giving you an idea..

umm i completed all my prep book work on monday and handed it in th eother day. and i cant remember what else..sorry x
