GB Update disaster - how do I roll back OS

Just installed the GB and its a disaster. It's basically rendered my phone useless. It broke all the contact list functions and the marketplace. I can't open any of the contact apps, nothing but force close after force close. Same the marketplace. So I can't retrieve my contact information and am now completely dead. Silly me for not having it backed up off the phone, but too late now.

I can't figure out how to roll back to the previous OS. I read stuff that implies that its possible, but I have no idea how. I've restarted the phone 3 times already to no avail.

I have an unrooted Nexus One, on AT&T.

I'm struggling with similar issues as a result of the update (very early Mar. 1st). The problems generated by the OS are numerous and too depressing to list.
It seems v2.3.3 has been released on a very limited basis and when I saw the update message I thought I'd won the lottery. Now I don't feel so lucky. With this new a version of android I can't even find an applicable flash for rooting.
I haven't found any answers on the subject of a rollback, but wanted to keep the issue active.

Also using an unlocked, unrooted N1, on T-Mobile.
