I have a problem with feeling nauseous often, usually 2 hours after I eat.
I had to see my Gastro doctor for something else, so I mentioned that to him. He did a EGD (camera down your troath) and the results were Barrett's esophagus, moderate gastritis. The nurse told me after the procedure it's like Gastric Reflux. When I told the nurse (and later the doctor) that I never ever have symptoms of heartburn or reflux etc. she said mine comes up only to half of my esophagus.
Now I have to take 20 mg Omeprazole every day 1/2 hour before breakfeast.
My nausea has gotten a little better.
But my question is....does anyone else has gastric reflux and obsolutely no symptoms of the disease?
And will I have to take these pills forever ? I have an appointment witht the doctor again in 6 months.
