Whenever I run my gas dryer it produces a strong gas smell that quickly takes over the house. The dryer is in the basement. I had the gas company come out and they said it was the connection on the back of the dryer connected to the gas line. I put a new flare on the line and connected it the the dryer . I checked for leaks using soapy water and didn't see any bubbles, but I still smell gas. What else could it be??
