gas on my car sucks whats the problem help please?

i have a 94 grand am,everytime i turn to the left i always see my fuel guage fluctuate and the needle goes way far to the empy side.its only when i make left turns though.when i make rights it doesnt do anything.but as soon as i even adjust the wheel my guage goes crazy..sounds like a fuel pump issue but idk for sure ya know?i honestly dont wanna take out my gas tank to find out thats not the case.please help with this issue.i keep wasting gas this way and it sucks
