Hello, I have a 1999 Camaro with 106k miles. I believe the gas gage is not working properly. I know that there is at least 3/4 more gas in the car than is appearing on the dash gage.
When the gage gets near the empty, the "check gages" light comes on.
I think this might have happened b/c I let the gas get down to the bottom too much.

-Also, if I unhook the negative battery terminal, will maybe this fix the problem.
