The other day our gas cap light came on, we tried to tighten it and that didn't work so we bought a new gas cap and that didn't work. . .no matter how much we turn the cap to tighten it we can't get the light to go off, this has caused our check engine light to come on, Also, we are going through gas faster than usual. We took it to the dealership yesterday but they wanted us to pay $100 just to LOOK at it and tell us whats wrong with it, we don't have the money to blow just to have someone TELL us what wrong with it. Has anyone had this problem before if so what did you do? Could there be a hole in our gas tank?
