Hi all, I am back. I was dx 2 yrs ago with GERD. Was on aciphex for a long time. Lately I have had upper left sided pain with upper ab burning---different then the GERD I have exp. I went to the dr and my lipase was slightly elevated and remains 2 wks later. This pain has been going on for a month
Had a US and CT-clear. Going to have an EUS as well. I fear pancreatic cancer as my dad passed from that and I hear many people have GERD prior to being dx with PC, plus the fact that my lipase is elevated concerns me.
At anyrate, does anyone else have gas along with GERD? Hoping these pains are GERD related and maybe I naturally have a slight elevated lipase. I think I remeraber having gas a long time ago when first dx w GERD but its been so long. What about bloating/grurabling after eating?
Any additional feedback would be helpful
