Garnishment on checking account after I filed bankruptcy?

I had started the bankruptcy process back in January. I already hired an attorney, filled out my paperwork, and paid my $2500 fee. A week ago I went to withdraw money from my checking account and due to a legal garnishment my account was drained to zero. I have my paycheck directly deposited so I now have zero money. The bank told me that I am also responsible for any NSF charges for any pending transactions. I called my attorney and he said it was just an accident and I would be getting my funds released ASAP. My question is.....am I really getting my money back or not?
