Gardening Help......?

It's currently the school holidays and i have decided to begin a gardening project. ^_^
If i were to buy a 10kg bag of landscape pebbles, approximately how many square meters will this cover?
I don't aim to have too much depth in pebbles, but just enough so that the soil beneath is not visible.

Much appreciated for the help!
 
You would want about a three inch depth to cover the soil well and I recommend you put landscape felt under it too. Here a bag of pebbles or landscape rock will cover about five to six square feet at the most. They don't put that much in bags as it is heavy to carry. If you want to cover many square meters, I suggest you buy your material by the yard.
