First of all, I should mention that I live in Texas. Its been 105+ for a month. I have a small garden with several tomato plants, peppers, egg plant and cucumbers. I've had this garden going great for about 5 months, but since the heat has kicked in, the leaves on all the plants are always droopy and turning brown. No cucumbers or peppers have grown at all lately where before they were growing like crazy. The soil always seems dry, so I've started watering every evening - I had been just watering every 2-3 days. Could I possibly be overwatering? But the soil is so dry and hard. I've loosened up the dirt several times just to make sure water was getting down to the roots. Any advise?
