Thats why I worry for the Wii. Its way too easy to rehash all the PS2, Xbox, Gamecube games from last gen and add the gimmick.

No actually, every 3rd party game ported over from other consoles is complete crap.
If this keeps up, the only decent games on the system will be from Nintendo themselves.
N64, GCN anyone?

These games are first gen and were developed b4 sales of wii have proven itself. Of course you will port. Now that developers know the wii has an established base of consoles, they will strongly consider exclusive development.

The biggest problem i see in all this is that developers can be good designers but not necessarily good gamers. It takes a good gamer to "get" how a good control system should work...especially with a wiimote. A case for this is the control system in god of war. This was done well because of the help of some street fighter friends i know. I have very little confidence in US developers on this matter with wii development. Im sure we will see many games with a bad control system. But there will be a few that standout as great. Its going to take a gamer company to pull off these great games.
