gamecube data saved to wii

Does anyone know if it's possible to copy gamecube data from a memory card to the Wii's memory?

On a related note, are the specific wii SD cards recquired? Or do any SD cards work?

Wii uses the GC memory stick.

I thought it used SD's to save data, as well as the internal.

It uses both, it uses SD for WiiSaves, and GC memorycards for GC saves

Any SD will work, I am using my MicroSD card in an SD adapter from my Cell Phone and it works fine.
