  • Starting lineups for the Red Sox and Cardinals

The Boston Red Sox host the St. Louis Cardinals in Game 6 of the 2013 World Series tonight at Fenway Park at 8:07 p.m. ET on Fox.
The Red Sox are on the brink of winning their third World Series championship in 10 years and their first at home since 1918.
It's the fourth time the two teams have met in the Fall Classic: The Cardinals won in 1946 and 1967, the Red Sox in 2004.
The Red Sox and Cardinals both finished the regular season 97-65, tying for the best record in the major leagues. It's the first time since 1999 that the teams with the best record in each league met in the World Series.
The Red Sox could become the second team ever to win the World Series one season after finishing in last place. The other was the 1991 Minnesota Twins.
The Cardinals could win their second title in three years.
