on approval.? A new report released today by Gallup showed that more Americans approved of the GOP then disapproved of it for the first time since 2005.
Republicans now have a 47% approval rating, 13% higher than shortly after Obama took office.
43% of Americans still have a negative view for the GOP, down sharply from the 61% shortly after Obama took office.
Now you may be asking about Dems:
Currently; Democrats have a near tied view, with 47% of Americans disapproving, and 46% approving. This is up 5% from the 41% of Americans who approved of the Democrats in March 2010, which at the time was at the lowest level since 1992.
Despite the gains in approval, the Dems have yet to regain the 55% approval rating shortly after election day 2008.

@Ambush. Gallup is NOT conservative leaning. It is unbiased. Rasmussen and PPP are biased polls.
