Is there a way for me to get the new T-Mobile G2 (HTC Desire Z) or the myTouch Slide WITHOUT having to pay for the data plan? On both phones it says Required Data Service and I don't want to have to pay 30 extra dollars per month for internet. All I want is $10 unlimited texting.
Oh and my aunt usually gets it for me than sends it to me, but if my parents and I go to a T-Mobile store ourselves, is there a way for us to like not need to get the data plan?
If I buy an unlocked phone would that work? I really don't want to though because those are really expensive.
