G1 randomly crashing!

So my G1 has been randomly crashing about once a day for three weeks or so now. It is not rooted and is running stock 1.6. Does anybody know of any apps from the Market that have been know to cause devices to crash?

I know this is vague, but just shout out anything that comes to mind.

Thanks.

Unfortunately, the Android logs do not persist after a reboot. Otherwise it would just be a case of looking at the log using Log Collector to see what crashed.

The only way I know of is to either uninstall an app at a time. A good place to start is to look in the Market at your Downloads. This lists all the apps in the order they were installed/updated last (most recent first). So I'd start at the top of that list and work your way backwards.

This may sound loony, but have you gone into Apps Manager and cleared caches? My G1 was real sluggish, hanging, occasional re-boot, just weird. I dumped everything on my browser and there were two news feed programs with caches (don't uninstall, of course). Anyway, I gained a little extra room on the phone, but it completely solved the problem. Not sure why. Maybe "something" in one of the caches?

Good idea - certainly running low on memory can cause the issues that were described.

If you go to Home -> Menu -> Settings -> SD card & phone storage. Scroll down to the section that says "Internal phone storage". How much is listed under "Available space"?

I have the same problem as the original poster.
My G1 crashes every 15 minutes or so, and I have to pull the battery in order to reboot it. I've done a factory reset but the problem persists. It's not rooted, everything standard.

Any ideas?
