Well i am not sure if its right place to post this but i will.

Today i was walking on the street and my G1 slipped out of my hands and got all scretched from the front ( where the bottons are ) is there any way to get a new cover ?
 
Here's a manual on repair of the G1. I don't thinks it is an easy task to replace the part you need. Just get a cover for it. Body Glove makes one that covers everything except the screen. I used the Body Glove cover and it works well.
