An old asshole friend of mine used to call my pass seat and tp backrest the fight chair (reminded him of the chair on the deck of a fishing yacht) then his wife started saying the same shit, finally said wtf, I didn't roll in here talking shit about your dyna low.

I had more miles on my Ultra the 1st week than they had on a dyna and deluxe together in a year. Haven't had to talk to them for 2 years and thats fine

I had a neighbor that took all his friends out to his garage to show them his bike and talk about how he loved riding it. We asked him if he wanted to go for a ride to dealer open house it was about 50 miles away. He said no he had to be home by 5:00 it was 10:00 in the morning! He also complained about changing his tires they only had 5,000 miles (they were dry rotted).

Not trying to be a smart@$$ or anything, but the guys I've run into that are REALLY "tough guys" don't brag about it or show off. And you know pretty quick that they are tough guys after you've been around them for a bit.

The guys who want to brag about it or "act tough", well...most of them would piss their pants if one of the real tough guys ever got in their face.

But I guess that everybody has their own thing, and we all gotta do what we gotta do to be happy with ourselves.

Me? I ain't no tough guy. Heck no. I just like to ride my bike when I can and for the most part, live and let live.

I bought a 2000 Road King with less than 800 miles on it 6 months ago , I doubled the mileage in a week and a half, I can appreciate these type of riders when buying their bikes

Riding a Harley is the most fun you can have with your clothes on. I ride every chance I get, to work, to the store, or just to ride. I love it when the wife forgets some minimal item from the store while she is making dinner, cause it's just another excuse for me to fire up the RK and go get it for her. With all that being said, I can ride all week long and only be out 15 bucks in gas, and I sure can't say the same thing about my truck....

ditto. Had the same thought. Not trying to be an a$$, but it sounds like a 'my d*ck is bigger than yours' story. Me, I could care less how many miles someone rides. Alot or a little it just doesn't matter to me, as I'm going to ride how and when I want to ride. How another person rides is their business. If it makes them happy owning a bike and keeping it garaged, then great. To each their own.
