Hello all.
Firstly, I apologise if I have posted this topic in the wrong section.
okay, here is my problem.
I have noticed the last couple of years, that my nose has become out of shape. My son mentioned only a few weeks ago that my nose looked crooked. The final straw was when my sister came around only a couple of days ago, and I mentioned this problem to her. On feeling around my nose, she said, "You have previously broken your nose". Then I got a flash back of a previous relationship years ago. I am talking around 10 years. Of the time my then partner took a swing for me. I heard a faint crack...but no bleeding and no real discomfort. So left it at that. I woke the next morning to a black eye. But my nose did not look out of shape at that time.
Now, years on, the lump on my nose seems to be getting bigger and more out of line, I suffer from frequant headaches, which I mentioned to my Doctor when I went to see him a few months ago. And if I get a cold... my right nostril is runny, but my left, where the lump is, is blocked.
Upon reading about all this. I read that new or old...a broken nose can cause sinus problems, even years after. This sounRAB so much like me.
I also get a feeling of pressure along the bridge of my nose when I get the headaches.
Is there anyway, I could get help if there is a need to do surgery on my nose. Or is it too late.
