In 1983/84/85 if I sold an uncut copy of the Evil Dead in a shop I could have been procecuted. Tomorrow they are giving it away with The Sun for free!!. I am the only one that thinks this is really weird.
What next, The Daily Mail giving 'Driller Killer' away!!!

I remember the 'video nasties' situation very well.What a bunch of bollix that turned out to be.And seriously...The Evil Dead? Did the people who banned that film even watch it? It is one of the dumbest movies ever and even if someone is giving it away,I still don't want it.

They had Halloween1 today and its Hellraiser 1 and 2 later in the week. Not sure of the others.
Yes, there is a tree rape scene in ED1 and the Disc cover photo in The Sun says its the full uncut version..
