I have one finger where the nail is extremely ridged vertically, and it curves more than my other nails. The cuticle on it is very thick, detached from the nail, and is dry and peels often. I've had this problem my whole life, and I've always clipped the cuticle back with cuticle trimmers and used a nail buffer on the ridges. I moisturize my hands on a daily basis, but I've recently been wondering, is there something wrong with the nail on this finger? Or is it nothing I should worry about?
