This is good news. I already own all of the Dragon Ball sets, including the Uncut first 13 episodes and first movie imported from Australia, but I will probably pick this up, if it is indeed really being released. If it is true, I'm sure we'll see some sort of solicit from FUNimation. If it turns out that FUNimation has not obtained the license to release the Emperor Pilaf/Saga of Goku/First 13 episodes plus movie 1 in an Uncut format in America, it is quite possible that they could be releasing Dragon Ball in new sets, starting with the Tournament Saga. Most of the original 2-Disc Dragon Ball sets are out of print and going for outrageous prices on eBay, anyway. A new print run would be most welcome. However, if FUNimation insists on releasing Dragon Ball in a widescreen format, it would be most appreciated if the show not be tampered with. This means no cutting out footage. Adding footage is fine, and I would not mind a restoration. Restored and New footage=good. Cuts=bad.
Let's hope FUNi posts some new soon.
