Fun with the Credits

Although most productions (and showbusiness unions) have a standard protocol for screen credit, there have been a few rare instances where deliberate fun was had with the credits. Here are some that I can think of:

Wabbit Twouble (WB/1941)---As with the cartoon's title, the names of the four major contributors are rendered in Elmer Fudd-ese, thus Robert Clampett becomes Wobert Cwampett, Carl W Stalling becomes Cawl W Stawwing, et al.

Batty Baseball (MGM/1943)---The cartoon starts with the "Batty Baseball---Directed by Tex Avery" title card, deliberately missing out the MGM title card and the Animator and Music credits. As teh cartoon begins, a batter about to slide freezes in mid-air, landing to the ground, and, breaking the fourth wall in the process, addresses the announcer ("Who made this picture? How about the MGM title, the lion roar and all that stuff?"). The announcer apologises and then displays the MGM title and animator/music credits before continuing on with the cartoon.
