Fully-Working Registry Settings for ArcSoft MMS Composer 3.0.16.6.....with Extras!

Okay, here are the guts of my MMS registry settings. EVERYTHING works, both sending AND receiving--pics, audio, viRAB--the works. I even tweaked it so that you have the anonymous sending option. Other nice little tidbits are the fact that you can snap a picture from the message editing window, or actually preview a video before sending. I also increased the file size limit to 512k, and the sending timeout to 1000 (don't know what that means as far as time goes, I just doubled what was there before).

I'm using 3.0.16.6 version of MMS Composer. You CAN install it either over or along with your current version. In some cases it will overwrite the newer version. Sometimes I got a message warning me about an "upgrade" replacing the current version. Another time, I got TWO MMS folders in my inbox. Hopefully, the ROM you're using doesn't have a pre-installed version of ArcSoft.

If you need 3.0.16.6, you should be able to find it pretty easily. I don't have it as a separate .CAB file--it came as part of Kirvin's AKU 3.5.

Also, badutahboy sent me a .CAB that had some of the settings mentioned in it, but you would have to delete the other entries as I stated in my registry fix post.

If you would like me to compile this into a one step cab install let me know
if so just export the whole Reg String for arcsoft as a reg4 file and i will go ahead and compile it into a cab for people to just click on and it will install these settings automatically
 
I'm pretty sure those won't work unless you're using the same version of mms he is... I know that the server info is saved under a different registry heading and I noticed a couple other things too, but can't think of what they were off the top of my head.
 
I have just recently updated my aku to 3.5 no junk version and have gotten most of my phone working I need to get mms back up and am not familiar with how to edit the registry on this thing? is there a program that i need to install like regedit in windows? or if a cab was made that would be super easy.
I know it is off topic but I also have another question when I created a custom rom using badutah's instructions and then flashed my aku I now get an error on every soft reset saying sddaemon.exe can not be opened? is this an issue that I need to worry about. I also have a few useless shortcuts on my program screen. I don't know how to delete them

Thank you for your response that worked. I also tweaked a few things since I had to start over anyways.
does anyone know if the registry changes listed above ever got put into a cab file for easy install?
