Full Termi versus stock review by me!

I've read a lot about comparisons between the full termi (70 mm with race EPROM) and the stock system, and now I can finally add my two cents. I have a Tricolore with the full 70 mm system and a 1098 standard with the stock exhaust. I rode the Tricolore the first time today and I was absolutely blown away by the difference.

Disclaimer: I'm in Colorado at 5,000 ft. of elevation, so I know some power would be lost due to less oxygen and it would especially be more noticable with the stock versus the full system.

My experience: It's really like riding a different bike. The bike revs up smoother and faster in a way that is very noticeable. A blip of the throttle and your popping a wheely even in low in the rev range (3,000 rpm). The motor hits the rev limiter much more quickly and you can feel the motor breathing like a horse on the top end. I've read about less torque with wider pipes, but I must say that I had the opposite experience. The bike pulls like a tractor, rev's up quickly, and the top end feels limitless.

I can honestly say that I was both giggling because of the power and a little scared. I came around a corner and gently rolled on the throttle and the front end was coming up already. This is the closest feeling that I've had of being on a true monster race bike. Bottom line, big difference between the two.

I rode with a friend who has a tricked out R1 and he complained that he couldn't even hear his bike next to mine. I'm still smiling!

I just put it in the wrong place and couldn't figure out how to move it, however it is a must read! Termi's for everyone!
