I have a Fujitsu Siemens Li2727, and I wish to install UNIX on it. At the minute I am primarily considering FreeBSD.
My problem is that, in order to accesss the wireless connection on the laptop, a program is required. There is no switch, button, etc. that allows me to turn on the wireless card, it is entirely software activated. Would I still be able to run the program to activate the wireless card if I were using UNIX?
Are there any other ways I can get around this problem?
Thanks in advance, I couldn't find any info on it myself.
