to windows 7? I have tried to upgrade my laptop to windows 7. The laptop is over a year old and I wasn't entitled to a free upgrade so I am using a standard windows 7 dvd to try and upgrade. All seemed to be going well until the laptop rebooted. It then looked like vista was starting and then went into the Fujitsu Siemens recovery screen. The only option it is giving me is to restore factory default settings which will wipe all user data and clear all partitions. Is there anything I can do to get the laptop working with windows 7 and avoid the loss of all my data?
