Actually 87 octane is probably OK.. I had a Spirit 1100 and what I did was try different octanes to see which one gave me the best performance and gas mileage. Also brands had alot to do with it also. I found for my bike that mid-grade or premium was the best.
I have a 2007 Honda Shadow Spirit 750 c2 and I bought it used, but it never came with a manual. I've been putting 87 octane in there, but I wanted to know what the manual says to put in there. Anyone have that year or newer a similar shadow 750?
