My truck will start and runs perfect, until i shut it off and come back and it wont start up again for a few hours. after sitting for awhile or overnight, it starts right up again. when i try to start it, the engine will rotate but will not fire up. since then, I changed the fuel pump and the problem went away for about 5 months. Now the same exact problem is happening and i cant hear the fuel pump turn on when it decides not to start. I have also noticed that when i turn the key and the check engine light is on, it will start every time, but when i turn the key and the check engine light doesnt turn on, i dont hear the fuel pump and it doesnt start. Does anyone know whats going on?
