Hi I have an 89 chevy scottsdale 2WD with a 5.7L in it.last couple weeks it surged when Id start it cold for about 10 seconds rev high and low about 8 times then run fine.Ran a lil doggie till I got about a mile away and it warmed up then ran fine.Today it just stalled on my way home lost power started up and ran doggie bogged down like it was starving for fuel i had to work the pedal to barley keep it running and crawled home.Replaced the fuel filter this afternoon still same it will fire up for about 5 seconds then die.If I turn the key forward for 10 sec. then crank it while fire up fine for about 10 sec. then die again any suggestions?
